Each QR code directs the viewer to a distinct link, leading to resources that span from an article on unmanned aerial vehicles to a compilation of banned websites.
By navigating these links, viewers are invited to interpret and infer meaning independently.

“According to Foucault, visibility is a trap. In a panopticon, the prisoner is seen but cannot see. They become the object of knowledge rather than a subject of communication. The true power of the panopticon lies in its ability to create a conscious and continuous state of visibility, which enforces power automatically over the prisoner.”
An experiment on re-positioning myself in public spaces and reinterpreting it through the mechanisms of surveillance.
The images and videos were captured by accessing CCTV cameras. Besides me, one person assisted in recording the videos on the computer, following my directions, while another managed the artificial lighting on location, also according to my instructions.
The maps display the locations of some of the CCTV cameras used to capture the selected images.
